I didn't understand where to start this thread, so just started a new thread.

The Addo Elephant National Park features a rich diversity of wild animals, apart from the giant African elephants. This is really a place wher you can see elephants from a very close distance. One unusual you would notice is the innumerable signboards along the road which says not to crush the dung beetles. These are really unique creatures, an essential part of the park's ecosystem, which roll dung balls from place to place.

This national park is located near Port Elizabeth.

hey, nice information indeed. Thanks. Actually, I had seen a documentary on this very national park, and today I just chanced upon your post. well, in the documentary too, the dung beetles were featured. I am a complete photography freak and have always wanted to take shots of animals in the wild for a long time. Addo definitely seems the place to be. i believe South Africa has many other destinations to be up close with nature.

Regards.
