What is the official currency in Combodia. I have read that some shops accept Thai baht and USD, true? and how many % for extra fee. Is it a good way to pay buy credit card ? Any ATM available in main cities?

Riel is the official currency in Cambodia, USD is acceptable for most of the shops but i'm not certain about THB.

ATM machines aren't available in Cambodia. Some shops let Travelers cash advances from their credit card with
high handling fees.

My advise is convert first your THB to US dollars and use it in Cambodia. It would be better to bring US dollar because it is very acceptable worldwide.

Just got back from Siem Reap (and wished we had stayed longer and LOVED it!!) My advice is US dollars and as per other posting, small denominations works best.

cheers
