Train info in Delhi
Delhi is the hub of the Indian Railways network with Express trains to all parts of the country. The city has two major railway stations in New Delhi and Old Delhi. New Delhi station is within walking distance of Connaught Place and Main Delhi station is about 7km from Connaught Place. Delhi offers express trains to all parts of the country. For the foreigners, tickets are available at the International Tourist Bureau (Ph: 011-3346804), located at New Delhi station. The main ticket office is at the IRCA building on Chelmsford Road, Pahar Ganj, between New Delhi station and Connaught Place.

The best part about Delhi is you get the best of both worlds; a great shopping experience and an enormous variety of historical attraction.
Of kings and palaces, from Delhi you can get to Jaipur, Pushkar, Haridwar, Shimla and a lot of other interesting places. Even the holy town of Kurukshetra is just over 140-minute drive away from Delhi. Most importantly, the conncetivity is very good from Delhi.
Again, hotels in Delhi are of varied types and can suit almost any pocket and choice.
Regards,
Jeev

Hi,
We plan to stay in New Delhi for 2 days and then head to Kerala directly. I wanted to know whether we can go to Agra and come back in a day? Please let me know.....I guess Jeev won't mind sharing the info. Thanks in advance.

Sure, it's possible. You can comfortably have your breakfast and then start for Agra. I believe you would go for car rental. That's actually convenient. Roam at a leisurely pace and you can easily get back before 9 p.m.
Regards.
