Hi, I've read mixed reviews about the Mozaic restaurant in Ubud, was wondering if anyone here has eaten there and if the food is really that good to justify the price they're charging.

I'm still undecided about going there...

For the restaurant website, you can visit:

http://www.mozaic-bali.com/restaurant/index.html

You may feel they shoot a line! but every word is true. manga It's my best dinner in May. The restaurant is too good to be true. I felt once I entered the Mozaic. The towering banana trees, hundreds of twinkling candles surrounding jungle of tropical flowers. If you had been proposed by a nice guy, you may say yes unintentionally b'coz of the atmosphere there. loll mangateeth_smile (recommended for men then..:lolregular_smile.. )

Every dishes which were recommended by the chef, were awesome. Every bite is memorable. You will be sorry if you don't select the very generous international wine paring offer for RP 350.000)

When I think about this, my stomach will growl so I need to take a dinner now.. lollll

Don't hesitate to check it out!! regular_smilelol2lol

This is not a review, it is an Ad by Google, that is paid for.

I am a regular visitor to both Bali and Lombok and I have been using the Balieats web site for many years, totally dependable. Their reviews are real, warts and all. This is what they said about Mozaic:

http://www.balieats.com/full.cfm?id=872

I have eaten at Mozaic about 4 times, it is not my favourite restaurant in Bali. But, 'Is it worth it?' well that depends on what you are comparing it with. For $50 anywhere else in the world there is no way you can get this quality of a degustation menu for that price. But there are so many better restaurants in Bali where the 'complete package' is so much better than eating at Mozaic in a very tired garden setting, and sometimes with arrogant service [there was one very objectionable German waiter but maybe he is gone now]. Just a few; Glow, Cascades. Kura Kura, Sarong. di Mare at the new Karma Kandara, and many more.
