Lombok has many things to offer, particularly to those who are seeking to switch off and relax for a week or two. Whilst the local restaurants offer a surprising range of different cuisines, usually in their most simple form, what has been lacking is one real special restaurant.

Square now provides that, it is a classy restaurant that does not cost the earth! In fact I think $50 per person would be impossible to spend for food cost, much less. Square has always been good,but now they have a new Executive Chef and he is sensational. I believe he came from Bali's famous Mozaic restaurant.

I always use the Balieats web site when in Bali and I see that they are now covering some Lombok restaurants as well:

I heard a rumour when in Lombok last month that the Balieats people are about to launch a full Lombok site, with hotels and everything. It makes a change from all those sites that people just pay to have nice things said about them, another way to rip off the tourists!

"Square" is the name of restaurant, isn't it?
