Well, it really depends which city you wanna visit.

if you wanna go to Tokyo, you will need to go around the end of March and beginning of April.

I have searched and found popular cherry blossom spots as below :
Ueno Park
Shinjuku Gyoen
Chidorigafuchi
Sumida Park
Aoyama Cemetery
Koishikawa Botanical Garden
Inokashira Park

Enjoy your trip! regular_smileregular_smileregular_smile

Well... actually u can go to any park in Tokyo during "Hanami" <Japanese name for this festival> cuz there'll be around 600,000 people per day visiting the park so just pick one that u like and carry your mat then go reserve the seat as early as u can. hehehe...teeth_smile Don't forget to prepare yr booz and foods. Anyway, there're also food&booz selling at the park but it's better to prepare them yourself <like most Japanese do>

Normally the park will close at 10pm. but during this time if the officer won't come most won't go home. lol

I think a Must is a mat and don't forget to bring all your stuffs home, i mean "All" really ex: pot, box, mat, and even garbages. It's a rule for most of the park in Tokyo.

U'll see also ambulance around the park cuz there'll be people who get shocked from being overdrunk all time teeth_smile

::Tip::
Don't forget to try Japanese traditional desert which launce during this period like Sakura Mochi, Sakura Cha,and Hanami Dango. All dishes contain Sakura floral leaf as a special ingredient. manga
