I've heard there is only one beer (Beer Lao) that you can be found in Laos!!! Is that true? Can I have Heineken or Singha there?

Beerlao is now exported to the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, France, Thailand, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

Beerlao is very popular with foreign travelers in Vientiane Many guidebooks recommend enjoying a cold Beerlao at one of the riverside restaurants by the Mekong River as a 'must-do' experience when visiting the city.

Time Magazine named Beerlao Asia's best beer in 2004.

Beer Lao is good, similar to Singha. But you may find Heineken too.
