One of my friends warned me that I shouldn't go out at night alone after 10 pm., I'm not sure if it is safe or not.
I've read some articles, however I think your opinions can be more helpful, thank you!

I don't think it's safe to travel alone esp at night in any places in Philippines (may be quite safe in Makati but not outside).
My suggestions, don't wear fancy close and don't bring yourself into attention and go any places with your friends during night time.

Have been in Manila & Boracay many times. Boracay is great I wouldn't be worried there at all. Never had any trouble or seen any trouble in Manila, but makes sense to be street wise and probably better not to got to lonely places alone. Often moving around there in early morning. In Boracay, Cocomangas disco is open until all hours. Go there you will love it. White beach is one of the top10 beaches in the world. Don't miss it for anything!
Will be there in Nov.
