There are many activities in that area, which you can simply do both day time and night time

*****Khao San Road is, technically speaking, a small street about three blocks long located about a block from the Chao Phraya River in the Banglamphu district northwest of downtown Bangkok. Backpackers and budget tourists are drawn by some of the cheapest accommodation and travel deals in Thailand.

During Night time at Khao San Road has some of the cheapest bars in town and these days even some Thais head down to knock back a few.

During day time you may visit to the following places:

>>>Wat Phra Kaew, Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the adjoining Grand Palace. wink_smile

It's a pretty amazing place to visit and it's perhaps the main attraction. This is Thailand's most important and sacred temple,

>>>Wat Pho, Temple of the Reclining Buddha wink_smile

Wat Pho, or Wat Phra Chetuphon as it is generally known to the Thais, is mainly famous for the huge Reclining Buddha statue it houses,

Wat Pho is also famous as Thailand's first university, and is center for traditional Thai masage - the rich, famous and powerful have all been known to come here.

>>>The National Museum wink_smile

National Museum, which claims to be the largest of it's kind in all of South East Asia. It serves as a good place to learn about the full range of Thai culture, history, and of the traditional significance of Buddhism to the Thai way of life.

>>>Vimanmek Mansion Museumwink_smile

Vimanmek Mansion is the world's largest golden teakwood mansion with its elaborate architectural style reflecting a western influence. The building has two right-angled wings, each wing 60 meters long and meters high, and is three-storied except for the part where King Rama V resided, which is octagonal and four-storied. Altogether there are 31 exhibition rooms, with the bedrooms, the throne room and the bathrooms maintaining the atmosphere of the Thai past. Some display rooms house exhibitions of Thai art including silverware, ceramics, crystal ware, and ivory.

However, there are still many places for the tourist that should visit and to take a photo in that area
