I don't exactly know which markets would be more reliable than others, however, regarding the quality, I can say that they are of pretty good quality and are cheaper from their counterparts. Do always stick on gemstone certificate from a reputed lab. I myself wear a yellow sapphire which is certified to be natural and of good quality.

you can also try the market at Chanthaburi....but it's located 250 kilometers from Bangkok city. surely worth a visit.

Well i was in Gems business for many years before, if u r not really into Gems business it's better to go to any Gems shop in Silom road which close to Jewelry Trade Centre <Soi 19>

Anyway, if u r not into this business before i think it's hard to determine the price of the stone. As for the same one some might rate the price for 1,500$ but some might give 3,000$.

So just go to any shop u like, select the stone u want, then ask for a price and bargain!!!

Think first how much u gonna pay for it and stick to that price or lower hehehe.... teeth_smile

It's better to buy a gems stone instead of the already setting one (i don't know the exact word, btw i mean the one which already made to be earing, necklace, etc.) cuz they can use the design to hide the blot.

About 4-5 yrs b4 my friend bough a blue sapphire for 4,300$ from the openning price 123,000$o_o

Well... i'm not sure he's a good bargainner or ???

Anyway, the price can be high or low depends on which stone u wanna buy. For example, about 5 or 6 yrs before, pink sapphire was not very popular in the market so they sell them really cheap but then once they became popular the price went up about more than triple!

But i don't recommend Chantaburi to be your choice too far and nothing much to see except u like to see the dolphin also hehehe regular_smileregular_smile
