A bit laid off but not too far from the beaches, lies the enchanting Phuket Town. After you are trough with the excitement of the beaches, you will be delighted to give some ample time to the see the beauty of teh town. There are still some old Sino-Portuguese mansions which deserve a look, at least a glimpse! As for shopping, apart from street shopping, you can try out the SuperCheap Mall which claims to be the cheapest. However, do try the Phuket Night Bazaar.

Regards.

oooooooooo forgot completely.......do try the jittery Tuk Tuk for a short ride!

Somebody tell me pleaseeeee if I can visit Phuket now? Actually saw the condition of Bangkok Airport,,,,which kept me wondering if the condition is same in Phuket too. I can pray it's not!

hey...thanks for that info...as I was mostly thinking of the beaches. Phuket Town would be a lovely bonus for us.

Thanks.
