Hi,

I plan to visit Vietnam at the beginning of next year. I am interested in kayak in Halong. Is there anybody who have come there? If yes, pls recommend me some travel agents who offer such tour.

Any recommendation is appreciated. Thanks

If you want to enjoy kayak in Ha Long, you should take the tour including Halong in itinerary and also send request to tell them that you want to have kayak activity in the tour, they will help you. I would recommend you use the service of Golden Travel, which is a travel agent in Hanoi. I used to spend my summer holiday in Ha long with its tour - good quality and reasonable price. I have their email here and you can send your request to them at inbound@goldentravel.vn

If you are planning to travel Vietnam, I highly recommend you should book tours at Threeland Travel company. they have a good reputation in Vietnam travel field

Hi Jessica, We booked an overnight with Huong Hai Junk Boats in August but a Typhoon forced all boats to cancel their overnight trips. The next day though, we had a great day trip with them, beautiful seafood and views as well as great service. My son and his girlfriend went out with them two days later and loved it! Overnight and 2 night trips you can hire Kayaks but this too can be dependant on the weather.
While we waited to see if the weather would clear, a few cocktails were enjoyed at the Novotel in Halong Bay where we eventually stayed the night, only $59US per person. Fantastic views of Halong Bay and will certainly spend a few nights there again when we return!
We LOVED Vietnam!!! Siem Reap, Cambodia was also a favourite... Enjoy... cheers
