Most of the hotels in Paris are well-connected by the subway system and reaching any tourist attraction shouldn't be a problem. An interesting fact.....most budget hotels in Paris have a dining room, but that's not a full-fledged restaurant. Though restaurants are just a stone throw from any hotel in Paris. I mean most of them.or they will surely have room service. I believe asiarooms itself has a huge selection of hotels in Paris.

regards.

hey buddy, I can't agree less with you. Paris does have a very effective subway system and connects well with most of the tourist attractions. An interesting thing about Paris --- hotels in Paris are never far from subway stations.

All you need to do is decide upon whether you want to stay in a crowded locality or a quiet one. I stayed in a hotel which had a very tranquil locality. I wondered why! After a bit of research, I came to know that there's a cemetery right next to it. So, now you know where to look for a calm and quiet place!!

Thats right!
Actually the metro stations in paris are very short for exemple you can walk around 10min between two (then.. it depends may be more or less)

actually this is the rer which get quite long stations

but if you use the metro in Paris you are sure to get all the touristic attractions!

If you are looking for calm accomodation i advice you to choose an accomodation in the suburbs around paris not too far then it expensive at all. Take a map of metro plan then choose the city closest to the station is better and in the surbubs ppl are very nice !

Im not sure that everybody get me so i leave some cities nice to tourist ; Ibis in Noisy Champs veryyy nice there is the University of MLV close to the gare one station there is Centre Commercial = Mall then u are abouy 6 stations to Disney and 8 to Paris ! very calm i know it cause in france i leave very close to it regular_smile, there is also val deurope, val de fontenay etc ..

Then everything depends on ur budget and what kind of tourist you are ... wink_smile

I just returned from my first trip to Paris. We had an awesome time getting around. We were there for Bastille day and I guess thes pictures of the Eiffel Tower fireworks will stay on our mind for a while !

We booked via originalstay.com as they were offering free guides a the time. We stayed in the latin quarter and as you said, public transportation was very convenient - even if we managed to get lost twice in 10 days.

While searching for that link again, I spotted this blog post could be helpful to many : http://www.originalstay.com/paris/blog/where-to-go/how-to-choose-your-hotel-i ... .

enjoy
