A wonderful destination indeed!! Schinoussa is a small island in the Cyclades island group and has a number of beaches. Interestingly, there's only a kilometer or so of roads, but that's really the beautiful part. the hotels here are simple, and offer basic modern facilities. If you are a foodie, do try those taverns for some local delicacies.

Thanks a lot for the info...I researched a bit on the island and got to know some interesting facts...life on Schinoussa dates back to ancient times. The settlements have been many a times destroyed by natural disasters and so on, however, teh beauty is simply mesmerizing. Apart from the beaches, the streets in the island are worth exploring which you definitely would!
