what's the best time to visit Russia ?

Just wanna know what would be the best time to visit Russia ( I mean any of the countries in the union )? Also wanted to know whether my knowledge of English language alone can help me communicate !! Moscow would be desired place as far as my plans.

The best time to visit Moscow start from May, June, September, Januar and Februry.

Reason:

In May and June many special events caz cold and snow are gone.

September :autumn is one of the most beautiful sunny weather enjoy with yellowish and red trees.

January and February: You can see beautiful city cover with snow on this period.

Not sure o_o about them language.

If you like worm weather you should go end of May (begging of May could be still pretty cold) - September. If you'd like to be in Russian when it's snowing go in end of December-January. There are a lot of cool stuff in Moscow around New Year (it's a major holiday in Russia).
