USA's flag is known as 'The Star Spangled Banner'

The Statue of Liberty is actually French-made. The government of USA was actually confused what to do with it.

Most of the states of the USA are purchased rather than freed.

The USA changes its time at specified intervals in a year.

More when I remember some more..........

Funny stuffs about the Presidents:

James Madison was the smallest President who weighed less than 100 pounds, with a height of 5'4".

Andrew Jackson was the first President to ride a train.

Franklin Pierce had memorized his entire inaugural speech, comprising of 3319 words.

Ulysses S. Grant was fined for speeding on his carriage.

Warren G. Harding gambled with a cookware belonging to the White House.

George W. Bush has a collection of over 250 signed baseball bats.


Let's add more to the fun facts and make it a funny thread.

was just browsing through the forums and came across this thread...some cool facts indeed. I always thought the Statue of Liberty was built by Americans, but now I know that the French built it. Anyway, I was always poor in General knowledge, but then I feel enlightened !!
