Amazing though, New Zealand is divided into time zones. It's usually 12 hours ahead of GMT, and it goes 13 hours ahead when it applies DST Sep 30 to the first Sunday of April.

The Chatham Islands is 45 minutes ahead of the rest of the country. So....guys looking for a hotel in New Zealand better checkout the CHECKOUT time!!

It means if I start from Heathrow Airport, I would reach New Zealand even before I have started! Nice to cross international time lines, and best to be ahead of times....and that's an easy way for sure!!
