Rio Carnival will be held on 22 February 2009 .
it not only provides entertainment for many people around the world but at the same time it gives also a chance to learn about the true culture of Brazil.
The highlight is Rio Carnival Parade called the Samba Parade -everybody has to experience at least once in life.
I will come back and share my experiences next year .lol

How about transportation on that date ? All main street will be closed , right ? So how can we get around the city .

Yo man........forget the transportation..enjoy the samba. Your eyes would be stuck wide open for sure if you watch the Smaba...live, up close !
