In my country there is an incredible place to make sustainable tourism, this means coming free, with no timetables, no guides, no agencies. Just wanted to know a different culture, local customs, learn the local language, travel by foot or horseback riding in a nature reserve forest, natural waterfalls, valleys and rivers.
This is only possible to stay with families of the place, sharing their meals and practicing some local traditions. Another way to travel, the more authentic and natural. Welcome!

Hi,
This is actually very successful tourism model in many countries. You are right it's the best way to know each other cultures and traditions.
Please shed some more information on how to go on about it. It's really interesting!
More info please.
Regards.

I think I too like this idea. Good for both the country and tourists who wish to know about the culture and customs. The best part would be the breakaway from the monotony of the stay in hotels.
would definitely save anyone from looking for hotels in Uruguay. Unique concept!

Sorry for not having written before friends. Thank you very much for your comments.
The good thing about my community is not armed or prepared for tourists. So people do things, prepared specially for tourists. I think that is the essence of Sustainable Tourism, which is as natural as possible. Natural up to receive tourists. I explain myself?
Then the tourists really know achieves sustainable community. The tourist travels sustainable place as a member of the community. So will discover the customs, food, how they work, and have a very direct with people.
I think that is a unique experience for tourists both sustainable for the local inhabitants of the community.
For example, my community is a rural area of 200 square kilometers, plus two small villages of 200 inhabitants each.
Tourists can walk safe, trouble-free. The local guide, not a formal guide. It is more an inhabitant of the area, known locally as the palm of your hand and also to local people. Then the guide helps tourists sustainable uncertain in the community.
I think going away from cities and hotels, to help tourists to know inside the country, visiting the region.
Thanks for your comments and tell them something more to my community in the South.
